Mayor's Clean Up, April.17th

Hello All,

It turns out, RHNA was not able to get a dumpster for the Mayor's Clean Up due to complications in the city's system.  We should however be able to schedule a roll off in the future if folks would like to plan a community pitch in.

Currently we have a request in for a dumpster, but are awaiting a call for scheduling the date.  We will be requesting April.24th as May.1 conflicts with Kinetic Sculpture Race and May.8 conflicts with Buy into Baltimore tour that RHNA will be participating in.  (We strongly encourage local residents groups to do an hour clean up the morning of May.8 around 9am.  THANK YOU!)

Chet from RHIC has stated that you can get bags and tools at RHIC starting around 8am this weekend.  Please do what you can to organize in your area and pick up loose trash, weed eat and mow if you have the means, and get out to talk with neighbors Saturday morning.

Bags should be placed at corner of Whitelock and Brookfield.  If for some reason you can't get them over there, please make sure they are placed at a central location, ON A CORNER, where DPW can easily see them. Do not leave single bags scattered around at mid block.

PLEASE !! be steadfast in not letting just anyone dump large debris at corner of Whitelock and Brookfield.  If you see someone please take their tag number and report it immediately to 311 as illegal dumping.  DPW will not be picking up mattresses, construction debris, large limbs, etc etc...
